After a great start of the season in Norway, we went to Mantorp Park in Sweden for our first race in the Swedish GT4 series.
The race were over one hour, and the other competitors where two drivers per car.
We only had one driver (Aleks).
After a few practice sessions, qualifying got underway, and we did not have the pace to be up with the other front runners. We qualified into 6th position.
We did some small changes to the car before the race, and we got away with a good start, after a hard fight with one of the BMW M3´s Aleks got some good lap times, and we where catching up with the front runners. After the mandatory pitstop we came out 3rd. passing one of the other car in the pit. After pushing hard the last 30 minutes, we finally came in 3rd. A great results for us, in our first race at this track!
We are now packing up and ready to go to Rudskogen in four days, racing in the Norwegian GT series. We will use this as a test race before we continue our GT4 races.
